Dates: September 21-22
Venue: The Pickleball Club, Port St. Lucie, FL

Virginia Beach Super Regional
Dates: September 28-29
Location: MLP Virginia Beach, Virginia Beach, VA

Nevada Super Regional
Dates: October 5-6
Location: Green Valley Life Time, Las Vegas, NV

Texas Super Regional
Dates: October 12-13
Location: PALA Pickleball, Houston, TX

Arizona Super Regional
Dates: October 19-20
Location: The Picklr, Scottsdale, AZ

The results of these regional events will bring together some best college teams with the intention of determining who progresses through to the Nationals. But Super Regionals aren’t the only way to the top – Campus Regionals, run by schools and local facilities, are another route to qualifying for the national Championship.

Campus Regionals and the Road to Nationals

Aside from the Super Regionals, various Campus Regionals are arranged during the course of the semester. These events, although less important than the former, still allow for the schools to display their skills and qualify for Nationals. The schedule for the Campus Regional includes:

Finally, Campus Regionals are small pickleball events, generally held by colleges with a proper pickleball program, that are key in terms of relieving the competitive pressure for schools trying to penetrate the market.

The National Championship That Will Be Held in 2024

For this season of every college-based pickleball team, the known ultimate target is the 2024 Collegiate National Championship, which is planned in history to be the largest known tournament ever held for this sport. The level of competition will also be very high with 64 schools and more than 600 players attending. The dates of the tournament have been set between the 1st of November to the 3rd and it shall be organized in the following order:

Friday, November 1: Group Stages (4 groups with 16 teams each)

Saturday, November 2: Knockout Stages commence (Round of 64, Round of 32, Round of 16, Round of 8)

Sunday, November 3: The final rounds consist of the semifinals and the final

Nationals at 64 teams will be available in a combination (Super Regionals, Campus Regionals, and wild card bids) which will all be upcoming. The wild card system allows participation of schools without formal bids as well, by providing these schools chances to compete based on participation in a number of events and number of players.
